Also known as John "Jack" Morgan, he opened the Cock 'n Bull restaurant and pub on the Sunset Strip in 1937. It was there, in 1941, that he co-created the Moscow Mule. The famous Mule lives on even in the 21st century, but the restaurant closed in 1987.

1936

Morgan was one of Farrow's groom's men when John Farrow married Maureen O'Sullivan at St. Monica's Church in 1936. Also a member of Farrow's party was Alan Mowbray. Morgan's daughter, Joan, was the flower girl and son, John, was the ring bearer.
