For nearly 30 years Andy has worked professionally in the film business. Andy is an accomplished film Sword Master, Film and Theatre Director, Writer and Producer. His extensive experience and knowledge in teaching actors how to fence and perform sword play routines, safely and dynamically was recently recognised by The British Academy of Fencing which, in January 2011, bestowed an Honorary Diploma upon him for "outstanding contribution to the Art of Theatrical Fencing for Stage & Screen".
In 2011, "Birth of a Legend Part I ~ Billy The Kid & The Lincoln County War" was released. "Birth of a Legend Part II ~ The Betrayal", has just been announced with Andy to directed and produce once again.

In 2000 Andy was asked by The British Academy of Fencing to be the GB Coach & Fight Choreographer at The World Artistic Fencing Championships, in Vichy, France. Team GB won the world title that year and Andy is still the only UK fight director to win the AAI World Championship title as Fight Choreographer.
Wilkinson Productions Limited, was established in March of 2000 and he was immediately commissioned to write and direct an original musical comedy for Sherborne School's 400th anniversary celebrations.
"Code Crackers" premiered on the 27th June 2000, one of the cast being the brilliant young British talent Charlie Cox. Andy also produced the Musical Score and CD for the show, with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
In 1999 he co-wrote and directed "Golden Swords" at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, London, and coupled with this credit and others he had for writing for theatre, television and for action sequences on films, Andy had accumulated enough professional credits to become eligible for full membership to the Writers' Guild of Great Britain.
