In April 2016, she was again made lead in Toggle.sg original 4 episode psychological triller mini-series Trapped Minds In the same year, she did a musical acted as Hua Mulan's elder sister, Hua Mulian. The original twisted comedy Mulan The Musical took place in Resort World Sentosa theatre from 16 December 2016 - 5 February 2017, with the famous troop from Taiwan. They broke record by performing 36 shows in 2 months in Singapore.
In 2015, after almost a year break from acting, she acted as Deng Xue Li in Crescendo.
In 2014 March, Kok left the entertainment Industry as her contract with Mediacorp ended & she chose not to renew, hence she is not eligible to participate in The Stars Awards organized by Mediacorp. Her last drama with Mediacorp was In The Name Of Love . Also in the same year, she appeared on big screen with her first movie in Singapore, The Filial Party.
In 2013, Kok won Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes in Star Awards 2013. She also walked away with "BottomSlim Sexiest Legs" Award for Star Awards 2012 Walk of Fame. Kok is the youngest child of a family of six children. She has 2 sisters & 3 brothers. She started her acting career in 1993 after emerging as a finalist in the local talent-search competition Star Search, where she won a contract to work on Chinese language TV channel SBC 8 (now MediaCorp Channel 8). She was also regarded as "Third Sister" (third most popular actress in Singapore's Chinese-language entertainment industry) in the 1990s. She received many offers to play the leading roles in the television dramas of that time. In 2000, Kok ventured overseas to expand her acting career. She returned to Singapore's Mediaworks in 2003 then MediaCorp in 2005.
