1999

Chris Chapman was born in Northampton, England but only utilised this fine town for its hospital services. Said services were well used as Chris was born early with his umbilical cord twisted around his neck and a spot of jaundice. After a brief spat in a friendly incubator, he returned home to Braunston with his parents Colin and Diana. At the age of 4, his family moved to Burbage in Leicestershire, where he remained until leaving for university in 1999. Chris was a hyperactive child with a stammer, so school was a hotbed of confusion and mishaps. However, he did meet his two most constant buddies Pip Nixon and 'Bodders' at this point. Things perked up considerably when Chris traveled to Bangor, Gwynedd at the age of 18 to begin a degree in English Literature. Having dabbled with theatre during his sixth form years, Chris threw himself into it entirely as a student - participating in 16 plays with the drama company Rostra over four years.
