She began singing professionally with her father Carlos Nilson in several songs for Argentine television shows like Ritmo de la Noche starring Marcelo Tinelli, Jugate Conmigo and Verano del '98 with Cris Morena. In the 1990s she began performing with her own rock bands until 1995 the Argentinian pop group The Sacados hired Cynthia Nilson to sing and play keyboards during their Colombian tour with Shakira and since then she became The Sacados female voice until present . She also sang the lead song of Verano del '98, a hit song from a famous television series. She has collaborated in many records as a writer and singer with Julio Iglesias, Ricardo Montaner, Azúcar Moreno, Alexandre Pires, Kelly Clarkson, Shaila Durcal, Noelia, Patricia Manterola, Aracely Arambula, Tierra Cero, Ninel Conde, Twiggy, Machito Ponce, Cynthia, Kika, Edgar, Pilar Montegro, and Don Omar.
