As he recalls, Dax's brain eventually re-learned basic A-B-C's, 1-2-3's, and -in due time-proved UAB medical personnel to have falser preconceived notions as Dax was able to regain consciousness. After months of outpatient/inpatient hospital rehabilitation, he returned to his collegiate studies at UAB. The first course he registered for was an Introductory to Acting 101 class.
