Eric Lange was born in Hamilton, Ohio and graduated from Fairfield High School and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He is married to Lisa Sabatino, who works as a sales rep in California. They were married on November 9, 2013, and have two children.

He has also made an appearance reprising his role as Sikowitz on the crossover spin-off comedy Sam & Cat. He starred as Lyle Mitchell on Showtime’s Escape at Dannemora.
