He struggled with depression most of his early teen years and says that music is the only think that got him to the other side. He made the album to reflect what he was experiencing at the time. He had been experiencing depression and anxiety for many years and after starting a new medication felt euphoric, as a side effect. He hopes to give his listeners a glimpse of what that was like going from despair to euphoria, the two ends of the spectrum, with the uplifting melodies. "Skies" consisted of 9 tracks without lyrics that instead rely on soothing melodies and beats to create the soulful flow. He makes his music as spiritual as possible, as seen in "Skies", where he gives listeners a glimpse into his past emotions.

Breakout artist, Frank Desilets, is a 18 year old songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. He started experimenting with alternative/rap music at an early age and quickly fell in love. He began writing songs at the age of 11, and continued on to release his debut album "Skies" on January 1st, 2018.
