In addition, George has worked for award-winning director Troy Miller at Dakota Pictures on both the first season of Brand X with Russell Brand for FX Network and the 2013 MTV Movie Awards opening movie and featured comic vignettes featuring host Rebel Wilson with guest James Franco.
Since 2011 he has been working as a producer, editor and sometimes music supervisor at NBC Universal, helping to brand and launch the network's top shows as well as produce various commercials for both the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2014 Winter Olympics respectively.
The film made it's international premiere at Hot Docs in Toronto in May of 2010. George and the directors are developing an original series based on the film.

George Danno was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. His parents were both educators. The family eventually moved to Northern New Jersey where George attended High Point Regional High School. He put himself through college via a student grant and by working as a cook in addition to various internships, including the marketing division of Sony Pictures Classics and the locations department at NBC's 'Law and Order'. He then received his B. A. in film/video production from the Center For Media Arts at New Jersey City University. In the following decade he made his primary living as a producer and editor, working in network and cable television, as well as features and documentaries. In 2002 he completed a feature version of his student short film called 'March' (2002). The film premiered in Hollywood, California as part of the New York International Independent Film Festival.
In addition the film enjoyed a sold out New York screening, then was awarded "Best Drama" at the 2002 Hollywood Underground Film Festival in San Francisco.
The New York Independent Film Monitor and New Jersey Hudson Current gave the film a favorable review in their October 2002 issue.
