Currently in Post Production on his two latest films - Anxiety and Ladybugs. He is prepping his two next features, Duality and Land's Park, to be filmed in December 2008 through February 2009, respectively. He is also working on a semi-autobiographical novel entitled Pacific Grove. [August 2008]

Currently in post-production on his second feature film "Ladybugs." He is in principal photography on the horror/thriller "Anxiety," based on the novel by Michael Laimo. His feature film debut "This Hollow Sacrament" will be released on DVD by Unearthed Films in March 2007. He continues to prep his next features, a Untitled Sequel to "Sacrament" and an adaptation of Michael Laimo's sophomore novel "Deep In The Darkness." [January 2007]

Stechman has just completed principal photography on the dramatic horror film "Threading Over Dark" and the film is currently in post production, the projected release date being late 2006. Stechman is currently adapting three of Bram Stoker Award Finalist Michael Laimo's novels "The Demonologist", "Deep In The Darkness", and "Atmosphere".

Recovering from a spinal fusion. Is currently engaged to longtime college crush Jennelyn Viray and writing his next film with writing partner Dawn Dais. [February 2005]

Motion picture Director/Writer and Novelist Greg William Stechman, whose influences include Pier Pasolini's "Salo", Wes Anderson's "Rushmore," as well as novelists such as David Sedaris and Stephen King, is a native Sacramentan and resides in Northern California. He is the owner Burning Grounds Motion Entertainment with filmmakers Lacie Oakley and Jon Rogers. Stechman graduated from CSU Sacramento in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Organizational Communication. During his years in college, Stechman worked extensively in multimedia, assisting New York Times Bestselling author Steve (MEG, The Loch) Alten in producing promotional films for his novels and developing his feature films.

Stechman produced the short film "trans-pose" in 2003, and directed music videos for Sacramento bands Shortie ("Something Else") and Bonzai Empire ("Freworks") in 2004. During his senior year at CSU Sacramento State, Stechman wrote and directed the independent feature "Michael and Claire: A Portrait Of Love and Dreams".

Graduated from Rio Americano High School in Sacramento, California June 1997.
