Nolan was then named captain of the Hartford Hawks at the start of her Junior year.. She had an impressive Junior Year with the Hartford Hawks. She logged minutes in 19 games, starting all 19 times, playing a key role in the centre of the defence. She was named to the America East All-Conference First team .for the third straight year, earning America East All-Championship Team honors again for the third straight year. Nolan racked up the awards her Junior year, earning a spot on the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association’s All-New England Second Team,. A rock solid third year at the University of Hartford gave Nolan a huge honour. She was chosen, alongside teammate Sierra Stone, to the Second Team All-East Region for the 2017–18 season.
Nolan finished her career with 15 points on six goals and three assists, contributing to 24 shutouts in 70 appearances and 68 starts. She was an America East All-Conference First Team selection for the second time in as many years, received four America East All-Championship Team nods, was an NEILA All-New England First Team selection and United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Second Team pick, captained the team for the second straight season, made starts in all 17 appearances, recorded career highs in scoring with three goals and seven points, and scored the game-winning goal against Holy Cross on 30 August 2017. She also added goals in wins over LIU Brooklyn on 6 September and Binghamton on 14 October, dealt an assist against UMBC on 30 September, contributed to five shutouts, and helped the defense post a conference-best 0.92 goals-against average. Nolan was an America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll member with a 3.5+ GPA.
In April 2016, Nolan scored two goals in a 2016 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship qualifier. One against Azerbaijan on 7 April and the other against Poland on the 10th.
In 2015 Nolan began playing for Hartford Hawks after obtaining a four-year scholarship to the University of Hartford to study Economics and Finance. In her first season playing for the Hawks, Nolan was named to the America East All-Rookie Team, earned a spot on the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association’s All-New England Second Team, also received America East All-Championship Team honors. She had four points behind a pair of goals, both of which were game-winners against league opponents Stony Brook on 1 October 2015 and University of Albany on 15 October.
Nolan has represented the Republic of Ireland at U-15, U-16, U-17, U-19. Nolan was also a member of the Republic of Ireland team that won their group at the 2014 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship and qualified for the semi-final. In 2014, she was nominated, along with two other team members, for the Under-19 Women's International Player of the Year at the FAI International Football Awards.
