In 2013, Permadi acted in several television films and played a role in the soap opera Emak Ijah Pengen Ke Mekah, opposite Irwansyah.

In her first soap-opera, Bunga Perawan, she appeared in only three scenes but was able to work with Indonesian actress Laudya Cynthia Bella. After her role on Bunga Perawan, she received offers to appear in more soap-operas, commercials, and modeling jobs. To date, she has played in more than hundred roles.
Metta Permadi (born April 11, 1989) is an Indonesian soap-opera actress of Chinese descent. She is the only child of Ahim Permadi and Lanida Haryono.
