He made his international debut for Libya in 2014 In a friendly match against Morocco. on 6 Juin 2015, against Mali In a friendly match scored his first international goals in 2–2 draw. on August in 2018 African Nations Championship qualifier against Algeria he scored two goal to lead his country to qualify for the 2018 African Nations Championship.
