In 2019, Bacon performed in his first opera "Shakespeare's Criminal" at Factory Theatre, starring alongside renowned mezzo soprano Marion Newman and baritone Dion Mazerolle. In the summertime, he appeared as the sexy bartender in every episode of Canada's "Love Island: Aftersun".
In 2018, he played the lead role of Frank N' Furter in Toronto's production of The Rocky Horror Show for a 4 month run at the Lower Ossington Theatre and appeared on the USA Network's "Falling Water".

In 2015, Nathaniel reunited with playwright Sky Gilbert to star in "My Dinner With Casey Donovan" at Theatre Passe Muraille. He also made his feature film debut, appearing alongside Jason Momoa in Gemini Award nominee David Hewlett's science fiction/ horror movie "Debug". He also appeared as a guest star on the hit Canadian drama "Saving Hope".
Bacon spent 2014 on stage at Toronto's Lower Ossington Theatre as the lead in their critically acclaimed production of "Hedwig And The Angry Inch" for which he won Best Leading Actor (musical) at the Broadway World Toronto Awards. His much lauded appearance also resulted in an invitation to open for Tegan And Sara at the World Pride closing ceremonies.
In 2013, he followed this success with more stage work, appearing in Martin Sherman's classic "Bent" at Hart House Theatre, playing Sherlock Holmes in Alumnae Theatre's debut production of "Sherlock and Watson: Behind Closed Doors" and work-shopping an original play with Dora Award winner Alistair Newton at Tarragon Theatre, before making a brief, but memorable appearance on BBC America's "Copper".
In 2012, he reached a much wider audience with guest spots on "The L. A Complex" for the CW network and "Transporter: The Series" for HBO. Nathaniel Bacon is a Toronto theatre star and Canadian film & television actor. He was born in Lindsay, Ontario and raised in the rural countryside. After completing high school, he attended both the University of Toronto and Sheridan College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree (specializing in Theatre and Drama Studies) and a diploma in Acting. After finishing his education, Bacon began to forge a career in acting (and on occasion, modeling), doing a number of plays, fashion shows and commercials. He worked with Gemini/Genie winning director John Greyson on the short "Rex Vs. Singh" which won the National Film Board's award for "Best Canadian Film or Video" at the 2009 Reel Asian International Film Festival and the "Colin Campbell Award for Best Canadian Short" at the 2010 Inside Out Festival. He took part in the first ever "America's Next Top Model Live" and also walked the runway in Toronto Fashion Week as well as Fashion Art Toronto before modeling in a print campaign for "Jean Machine". Bacon then landed a principal role in the TV series pilot "Mind's Eye" for Berkshire Axis Media before guest starring on several shows for the Discovery Channel and the History channel.
