Kidd used to be the Executive Officer of the Badminton Association of Western Australia. He also coaches the 1st and 2nd team in the Private Schools' Association, Christ Church Grammar School. Kidd is the coach of the State WA badminton Under 15, 17 and 19 team, being Australia's number one ranking player, Nick has also been selected to represent Australia for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
