A native of Swampscott, Massachusetts, Noah Pohl started writing and directing films in high school. His 30-minute short, "Grandma Thug," helped him gain entry into Brown University. There, he earned an Honors Degree in Literary Arts, studying under screenwriters Erin Cressida Wilson, David Grimm and Aisha Rahman. While at Brown, he also co-directed the feature documentary, "Mission To Matrimony," which was selected to play multiple film festivals around the world. He followed that up by writing and directing a short film, "Expiration Date," named one of the Best Short Films of 2008 by Indy Mogul.
