Pepeleva/Pleshkov competed at their first international assignment, 2019 JGP Austria in August of 2018. The team placed fourth in the short program and third in the free skate to win the bronze medal overall behind Russian teammates Polina Kostiukovich / Dmitrii Ialin and Anastasia Poluianova / Dmitry Sopot. Despite their podium finish, Pepeleva/Pleshkov did not receive a second JGP assignment but instead went on to win gold in the junior division of the 2018 Minsk-Arena Ice Star, and silver at the 2018 Russian-Chinese Winter Games.

Despite missing the podium, the team qualified the final spot to the 2019–20 Junior Grand Prix Final based on points earned between their two assignments.
Pepeleva/Pleshkov made their senior debut in November 2019 at the 2019 CS Warsaw Cup.
