Concurrent with his role at Prentice, from March to December 1999, Connors also served as an executive officer of Telecom Wireless Corporation, a publicly traded consolidator of various types of technology service providers. His role included negotiating mergers and acquisitions, preparing SEC documents, and dealing with the firm's investment bankers, attorneys, and accountants.

He founded the firm in January 1996 and served as its President and Chief Executive Officer until the sale was completed.

Prior to founding Prentice, from January 1994 to December 1995, Connors was the founder and Managing Partner of The Enterprise Systems Group, which was acquired by Prentice in January 1999.
