Stephanie was born and raised in New York City. She began her performing career as a dancer studying at the School of American Ballet, but being the daughter of two opera singers, a professional singing career would most certainly be in her future. Her first professional acting job was in an Off-Broadway play at age 9. Throughout her childhood she continued studying dance while dabbling in theatre and commercials. At age 15, she landed a recurring role on ABC's All My Children (1970), and at 16, Stephanie chose to leave the School of American ballet to further pursue her career in acting and musical theatre. Since graduating high school, Stephanie has managed to work consistently in the theatre, both in New York City and across the country. Most recently, Stephanie starred in the Los Angeles premiere of "Sondheim On Sondheim" at the International City Theatre, wrapping up a very busy year.
