On 8 March 2016 Koren has created her first event at the House of Lords hosted by Lord Eames OM for International Women's Day. Her guest speakers were – Baroness Blood, the former Enfield town mayor Kate Anoula and Ahlam Akram, the founder of a not-for-profit British Arab initiative that cares for universal women's rights.
Her third album A Love Song For You is a collection of love songs, containing classic covers such as "What a Wonderful World", "The Look of Love", "First Time I Ever Saw Your Face" and for the first time in history Koren has used the words of Mozart himself from letters that he wrote to his wife with her own adaptation to Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 23, K.488 song named – "One Million Kisses".
Tally Koren is an Israeli-born international singer-songwriter and voiceover artist. In 2011, she received the London Fringe Awards for best Singer Songwriter and her single Beauty of the Duty (2011) was placed on the BBC Radio 2 playlist and subsequently played on over 100 radio stations around the globe. She is extremely passionate about using her music and voice as a harmonic means to bridge the gap between different cultures. In 2014, she hosted a concert – Music for Peace in the Middle East – where Palestinians, Iranians and Israeli artists performed on one stage and she received a prestigious award as an ‘Ambassador for Peace’ at the House of Commons. Her deeply felt understanding of the need to encourage integration between different cultures comes from her own personal multi-cultural upbringing from Syrian and Polish backgrounds. She completed a BA in Jewish Studies and Theology at Leo Baeck College and has a great interest in philosophy, different schools of mysticism, such as Kabbalah and she has an holistic approach to health and wellbeing.
Koren has been involved in charity work from a young age with her first fashion show as a teenager being in aid of the Wizo. In December 2008, she was requested to appear in an exclusive solo guest performance for the Israeli President Shimon Peres at a charity event for Or Yarok, where she sang her song “Lets give Love on the Road” which was co-written with Moshe Ivgi.
In 2008 Koren married Simon Edwards who is a Harley Street hypnotherapist and behavior strategist.
In 2007 Koren wrote the song "Rotten Fruit" for the film Man Who Sold The World that was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007.
In 2004 Koren started to edit songs on her home computer based on classical music and put them together to an album named Timeless Melodies.
Between 2003 and 2006 Koren worked as a freelance journalist for the Israeli magazine Alondon, contributing a column on alternative health.
In 1995 she was a finalist in the Israeli Eurovision Song Contest.
After working as a model and completing her military service, Koren's musical career started in 1992 whilst under the management of Chaim Slutsky, she has since co-written and worked with a number of musicians in Israel, including Itzhak Klepeter, Micha Shitrit and Dudi Levi.
During the late 1990s, she relocated to London and subsequently worked with producers and writers such as Dave Dix who has produced albums for Alison Moyet and Black (singer).
