Seder was volunteer assistant at Ohio State University and at West Mesquite High School. In 2013, he became a health teacher and the football defensive coordinator at John Horn High School. On March 22, 2018, he was announced as the head coach for North Mesquite High School.
In 2013, he was inducted into the Ashland University Hall of Fame.
On January 8, 2006, he was activated by the Kansas City Brigade and eventually released on March 16.
On January 11, 2005, he was signed by the Columbus Destroyers of the Arena Football League, but was waived four days later on January 15.
On March 18, 2005, he signed with the Philadelphia Soul of the Arena Football League. On September 28, he was traded to the Utah Blaze in exchange for Donny Klein.
On November 10, 2005, he was traded along with Fred Ray to the Kansas City Brigade in exchange for Hans Olsen.

In 2000, although he was out of football for more than two years, Seder was contacted by the Dallas Cowboys after they had reviewed his highlight tape and were interested in him. After training camp, he won the placekicker job over rookie Rian Lindell, who was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cowboys following the 2000 NFL Draft.
From 1998 to 1999, he coached football, baseball and the freshman basketball team, while also teaching health and physical education at Lucas High School.
