Vijay was conferred Asian Voice Asian Achievers Award for 'Professional of the Year' by Britain's minister of state for Justice Lord Tom McNally Vijay was awarded 'Asian Leadership in Europe' by Asian Who's Who International at a Gala ceremony held at the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London on 30 November 2009. Vijay was born in Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, to Mr G N Goel and mother Late Usha Goel. He completed his schooling in village called Tikunia Kheri in UP and then moved to Lucknow, capital of UP for Higher Education. From childhood, he used to look after his father's business in Tikunia kheri in UP. Vijay was a bright student he has done B com, MBA and LLB from lucknow. Later moved to Delhi in 1998 and joined Singhania & Co and now settled in London with his wife Poonam Goel and son Arav Goel.

He has expertise in advising clients on matters relating to corporate law, laws relating to joint ventures and foreign collaborations. He has expertise in real estate transactions and has completed some major real estate transactions in India and Former Advisor on Emerging Markets to Rt. Honorable Nick Clegg MP, Former Deputy Prime Minister of UK.
